Task UI suggestion
Please create a thread. Then after that, I will create a review. I have people adding me from WS discussions and I can advertise this if this can solve this little frontend but quite complex problem of mine.

Thanks for these suggestions!
The shift-enter not working in the chat is a known UX issue, will be fixed in next release.
We'll surely consider other UX improvements.
Glad to hear that.

I made about 5 chat for code iterations now with no luck.
I accidentally pressed Shift Enter again. It's a habit.
And now I can't revert.

If I do delete the thread on that 'Another error:' message I sent, will it revert back?
One more try, I will try to edit the initial User Query.
I created a new task with some revision to the original query. More specifics and technicalities.
You can delete the last un-wanted chat message. We'll add a stop button as well in next relase to stop it mid-prompt
Now the Plan returned from the revised User Query seems less complicated. I will generate now and see how it goes.
I am further testing its capabilities by adding this to my prompt "Think of the best approach in order to perform this task. Feel free to devise from the original plan if you have better ways to implement it and get it done."
Now it is definitely better. Last time it couldn't even trigger the feature I requested.
What do you mean by "original plan"?
Now it has triggered but definitely buggy. I am used to this.
I gave it a well documented md file and it made a good Plan Specifics, unfortunately it didn't achieve the intended implementation. I created a new tasked and revised my original User Query.
Ah, I see!
FYI, we are working on Task chaining which will continue the relevant context into a follow-up Task which means the user does not have to worry about persisting the context
I can see some potential in this, tbh with you.
Thanks for the encouragement, this means to lot to us. We are rolling out some improvements into plan generation as well tonight. Can't wait to have more developers try us out!
I made a lot of highly interactive games now and I guess I have improved with prompt engineering and your idea of task isolation is unique and I like it.
It devised from the original plan specifics with the prompt I added and it made better choices than the previous one.
Got it
Is this Sonnet?
We are using all the premium models. Tasks is primarily Sonnet
It stopped generating edits to code.

It just returned a message.
Hmm... we'll take a look into this, cc: @Hardik Shingala, @Pranshu @ Traycer
I pressed regenerate twice now, only message.
I followed it up with this and it's now generating "Please make the necessary changes in order to fix it.
"

Same result, just text answer.
We will get to the bottom of this issue and should be able to come up with a fix for this soon, it's on the top priority for us.
Alright, glad to hear. Just reporting what could be implemented to make this tool better.
Okay, so here is another problem.
Since I'm fixing and replying for a component (it's somehow fixed) and now the root problem might be from another component as stated by its reply. How can I reference it?

I cannot reference it in the chatbox.
We are working on adding file reference in chat
I'm stuck. It's not making code edits anymore, I'm just receiving text replies.
Yeah, I know... file chat still needs some work
Alright. It was a fun try. I guess I'll be back to WS and Exponent for now and will give this a try after a few updates.
Thanks for the good comms. Wishing you good luck.
Thank you! We'll keep making it better
