Reveret merging of wrong faces
Hi :)
My girlfriend just merged herself with someone elses face on her user account for immich.
Is there any way that this merge can be reverted? I feel like the only way is going through each individual image and choosing "Fix incorrect match" but because it's 6000 images it doesn't seem like a good solution.
Is it then maybe possible to reset all of her facial recognition data while keeping the facial recognition data of my account?

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like
fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

Yep, okay! Good thing is that I do keep backups - will just revert to that then. Thank you! :)
So to answer the actual question: no you can't revert, that's why you need to restore from backup 🙃
Alternatively you could re-run all face recognition ever but that seems a bit much
Yeah, I was considering that if it were possible to re-run the face recognition of just one user but that isn't possible I think.
All or nothing unfortunately. But it does raise a good question of why not, since face data is kept per user anyways
@Tempest Hey, tagging you because you sent the link earlier. I just realized I may have been very stupid but my way of restoring the backup was just completely deleting the library folder and then uploading the library folder from a day prior. Restoring the immich folder is now done. In the task manager I can see that immich-api has been busy for the last 30mins or so but my immich is currently not loading in web. Did I fuck up? :D
Uh, all face stuff would have been in the database, not the library

Not sure what you mean, moving contents shouldn't really change anything. What do your logs show?
Yeah, it's all fixed now. My immich server just timed out for some time but it's now back online. Thanks again for your input - much appreciated!
