Issue with external domain server settings

Hello, looking for a bit of advice on an issue I am encountering with creating shared links. I currently have my Immich set up on my home server and have an external domain set up and tunneled through Cloudflared. I can access my Immach through my local network or the external domain and have the network settings set up for automatic switching on my android phone and my wife's. The issue that I am running into, is when I create shared album links for friends and family while connected to my local network. Using the mobile android apps, it always defaults to an http://<local ip address:port> rather than an https://<external domain> link. If I turn off my wifi and the app switches to run through the external domain, then the shared album links are created correctly using the external domain. I do have my external domain set up in the administration settings -> server settings -> External domain, but this only seems to work when creating a link using immach through a web browser and not the android mobile app? Does anyone know if the default external domain shared link settings just are not functional with the app, or do I need to do something else? Thanks in advance

The external domain setting should get used in the app as well

Thanks, that is what I assumed, but for some reason it is not defaulting to the external domain when connected via my local network. Ive tried resetting the app, logging in and back out, etc. Not a huge issue for me, I know that I can connect via the external domain when creating a shared link, but it's not easy to teach my wife to do that if she wants to share an album while connected to our house wifi 🙂

Did you set up split home/external URLs? Does your router support pinhole NAT'ing?
