Hi, the codec is probably not supported by your browser
and/or your reverse proxy has an issue, if you are using one
I am not using one anymore, I got off CF tunnels
what is the URL you are connecting to immich with?
So it works internally, but when I share it it doesnt work
Share url should be https://img.nitros.casa/share/Xw5s5_8p4Tb66LtPuKQYtCW4GfbcVW6F_C0JBjWRVHd9viHok9xgnrhDtnLDg4aWi48
ok so you are definitely using a proxy of some kind
because you are using SSL
im using NPM...
Ah, Nginx PROXY Manager 😉
it works fine with photos
haha
can you test local connection on port 2283 to start?
I changed the port to 80
but yes it works
try setting these, in NPM, I am not sure which ones need to be set
https://immich.app/docs/administration/reverse-proxy/
errrr
im not using nginx though
NGINX Proxy Manager? 😉
yes but not the web server.
the extra settings go under the advanced tab or smthg
oh
I think you can start with the client_max_body and headers sections
websockets should be set by the checkbox
I enabled websockets, didnt fix it. I tried all the other options as well
you said you can play it locally on port 80? that is not the port I would expct
derp
1s
the forward port in NPM is set to 3000 though for some reason..i remember i had to mess with a ton of stuff in here one night and not sure why i ended up on 3000 there.
I think the issue was that im a dumbass or somethin, changed the NPM port to 80, boom

enjoy ear rape
thanks lol
Im shocked it even loaded
cache i guess
i have no idea
Is there a way to get a direct link to the vid so embed works?
Idk if we support embedding. I dont think so
sadge
FYI I would not usr 80 for immich
80 should be NPM HTTP redirect
What issues could that cause..? I just didnt think it was convenient/looked as nice having to enter a port
Exactly that. You'll have services fighting over port 80. If the redirect is working as it should, you won't need to specify a port regardless
I only have one service for that VM, I have a vm for each service
using a combo of CF DNS and NPM for the routing stuff
Just have everything come in at 80 for NPM and let NPM do the redirecting
https://immich.example.com -> NPM -> http://immich.internal.ip:2283
It's quite literally what the proxy part of the proxy manager is forRight click the vid and copy url should work I think
