Information
In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like
fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.
Without the right information we can't work out what the problem is. Help us help you ;)

So so 🙂 Interesting! So Immich is NOT intended to present well organized photo/video collections over the internet to your friends (and yourself) and simultaneously offering to search for fotos/videos by file names or folder names?
It's not so much as not intended as currently not implemented
You can search by filename, it will do partial matches, you can make an album out of those, but nothing for folder search right now 🤔
Ok. And let's say you use the Immich CLI with "immich upload --album --recursive /mnt/..." (what I did and got about 60 albums from my 2024 photos/videos) and the go to your plain photos/video representation and then serch for a certain album name: nothing is found?!
Did you go to the albums page and search for album titles?
yes, that works
So the issue is that these two are not combined?
I put my fotos to folders like family 2024, family 2023, family 2022, etc. and then I would like to go to the plain fotos panel and then search for "family" and the see all my family fotos from all years (but not within the albums)
Hmm I see, that's currently not possible yet
This means the fotos should be indexed by there album names. At least this was my home because folders are not indexed...
my hope...sorry
What would be the best place to ask for such features?

Right now the big focus is a technical migration, then workflows/better sharing and access, and sometime in there stable release
