Update Tags (EXIF Keywords?) on Library rescan
Hey there! I set up an external library to import pictures taken on my film cameras and realized some inconsistencies in how they had been tagged on export in Lightroom. I've fixed these "Tags" now (from what I understand, Tags in Immich are inferred from "EXIF Keywords" in the file Metadata). But after changing the tags on the filesystem and having immich rescan the library I can see that the Tags in immich remain unchanged. Is this expected? Any suggestions?
PS: Software engineer, you don't have to ELI5, but you can if you feel like it or if I'm being an idiot. ๐ Oh and thanks for this amazing project!

Did you rerun metadata extraction?
sigh
I did now! Thanks ๐
or at least it's running now, might take a while... sorry about that! I'm new here ๐
while I'm here. One of the Tags I used denotes my Favourites in Lightroom. What is the easiest way to mark those as favourites in immich based on that tag?
Is there an EXIF tag that will just tell Immich its one of my favourites? that would be ideal because I can just bulk rename
All good!
I don't think we sync favourite status with exif ATM, let me check
Yeah, we read the Rating tag for stars, but not favourites
oh wait that's a thing? where do the stars show up?
You need to enable the feature flag

ah, cool! thanks ๐
