Moving from 1.123.0 to latest (CasaOS)

Im right now running 1.123.0 on my debian 12 little Backup Server. I installed Immich via CasaOS using the included AppStore which auto selected 1.123.0 back then now I wanna update and moved to a BigBearCasa's Setup which uses the Latest 1.125.3 (at the time of writing this). As I looked through all of it I noticed that the new Images directory was called pictures instead of upload. So.... is there a real difference or can I just upgrade/update and change the directory to upload (old directory with my images)?

I believe the FAQ suggests to just use the upload folder instead of the pictures folder

This sounds very specific to casa os. From immich standpoint, as long as the UPLOAD_LOCATION looks the same inside the container you can store it wherever you want

For immich the folder that maps to /usr/src/app/upload needs to be the same. In the default compose this is whatever you set your UPLOAD_LOCATION to, So if it's called "upload" and then "pictures" then that probably means bigbear vs casaos stock use a different folder on the host system altogether, you just need to make sure to use the same folder twice if you want to keep your pictures. Also beware to have the database the same, unless you plan on using backup/restore there.

These two folders need to be the same before and after switching @danel1406
