External Lib issue
Immich latest (installed last night) on Ubuntu Server using the install script on an N150 Mini PC. Want to point it to my Synology NAS.
Already mounted it, you can check the images ive attached. yml, env, fdisk, df -h, and logs are here: https://we.tl/t-vRFtLOHTrb
It says paths validated but no images show up even after hitting scan manually.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like
fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

Ok so use /mnt/…
i had just done that before i got the message but still nothing
also confrmed that docker can see the path using "docker exec -it immich_server bash"
I mean are there any files in that folder in docker ..?
Seeing the path doesn’t mean anything because docker will always mount something to it
Can you also show the files in the host at /mnt/sarvnas/…
did you bring the container down then up again?
did a new install of ubuntu server and docker and now im getting this
Please show the files as existing inside the container to confirm the bind mount is correct
1) I don’t see any actual photos there, 2) need to see it from inside the container
i think it wasnt showing up in docker even with the yml file configured.
The way I fixed it by installing Portainer and adding a volume in the GUI and adding that to my Immich using the same usr/src/app/external/sambit
Some kind of permissions issue that i'm too much of a newbie to diagnose
