Upgrade - Skipping version while upgrading to current version?
Hi,
I was reading here https://main.preview.immich.app/docs/install/docker-compose#upgrading but i was able to find out if it will be a problem to upgrade over several versions.
Is it possible to jump to 1.125 from any 1.xxx version? Or do I have to go from Version to Version editing the .env file?
What is the advise from the experts?
Best Regards

You should read the breaking changes and account for those.
Other than that, skipping versions is OK
Thank you. I was doing my research. If someone else is reading this and want to jump directly to the release notes this is the link: https://github.com/immich-app/immich/releases
There's also a page here with only the breaking releases v
Please make sure you have read and followed the release notes: https://github.com/immich-app/immich/discussions?discussions_q=label%3Achangelog%3Abreaking-change+sort%3Adate_created
This is not showing all breaking changes. For example v1.125.1 has two breaking changes but is not in the list. Do you know why this is missing for example?
It's just breaking changes that need action from most people in order to update
The breaking changes in v1.125.1 are very minor and will only affect a handful of people
Ah now i see it. The v.1.125.1 was not labeled as breaking. Before i was searching for breaking commits.
