Ongoing Sveltekit/Drizzle ORM CORS issues

I've been working on my better-auth sign in for a couple of weeks with no luck, and stripped it down to bare bones and I'm getting the same types of errors and can't continue with my app. I attached my hooks.server.ts and $lib/server/auth.ts to show how I'm addressing CORS but still am getting an error like the attached.
