Sync of .gadget directory in CI
Context
:
I am setting up some CI for an existing app and I was working through the unit testing setup documentation found here
:
https://docs.gadget.dev/guides/development-tools/unit-testing#unit-testing
Which refers to the following example project on github
https://github.com/gadget-inc/unit-test-example
in which
.gadget
/client and
.gadget
/server are pushed to Github
The issue that I am having is that some changes cause alot of noise in those directories
I also checked out what seems to be more recent documentation here
:
https://docs.gadget.dev/guides/environments/ci-cd#example-ci-cd-with-tests-github-actions
in which the
.gadget directory is added to the runner using
ggt pull
ggt pull
Question
:
Should I follow the documentation in the ci
-cd example and remove the
.gadget directory from my git repo and just use
ggt pull
ggt pull
to sync the
.gadget directory to my runner for CICD purposes
?
Thanks
