How to downgrade to 0.8?

Im typing download_depot 526870 526871 6115619736125052645 in stream console and get the error Depot download failed : error downloading manifest 6115619736125052645 from cache2-iev-odix.steamcontent.com (Access Denied) Even though I own the game. What to do here?
Solution:
You need to provide your steam user login and password so the steam can confirm you own the game. Refer to the steamcmd documentation for the syntax. Also note it will try to download whole thing onto whatever drive you are running the steam cmd from - make sure you have nough space (twice the game size for unpacking purposes)

>downgrade it's unsupported here, so this guide is as good as you'll get

It's possible to use SteamCMD to go back to previous versions of the game. This only works if you own the game on Steam - there is no alternative for Epic. For Epic, you must back a backup of the game files before the update occurs (so turn off auto update to make this easier!) I mean, what am I supposed to do then? I want to play with sf+, but I've had reinstalled windows a couple tmes since the 1.0, so obviously I don't have a back-up. Im trying to figure out the only option I have except waiting unknown time before mod comes out. Thats why Im asking the question. Just in hopes that someone would say something like "oh, version is wrong" or something, even though I checked everything three times already

What are you supposed to do? Same as everyone else: either take on the risk of performing the downgrade yourself, and putting some effort into troubleshooting it, or you could just try being patient?

I couldn't find any answers to my issues online, so I did only rational thing and asked the question. Being patient doesn't seem like an option, because I honestly feel like mod might not be migrated ever.

You did the only "rational" thing, and did the thing that the guide explicitly told you would not net you any answers? Mhmm. Not very rational. Being patient is your only option if you don't want to troubleshoot the downgrade yourself. Like, dude, this is a mod for a game. If it doesn't get migrated, yeah that kinda sucks. But the people who make these mods owe you nothing.

Thats why Im trying to figure this out. I know they don't owe me anything. Neither do you. So if you don't want to help - just pass this post. You may not have a generosity to help with this issue, but I hope someone will. No one owes me anything and so I never demanded, but if someone knows - I would appreciate their knowledge

Makin' a whole lot of assumptions calling my generosity into question just because you ain't getting what you want, and were warned repeatedly you would not get. Information you need is in that doc, and the search function here in Discord. Best of luck to ye.
