Transforming an Array of Strings to Trim Each Element Using Schema

Is there a way I could transform an array of strings with Schema such that all strings in it are trimmed individually?

Schema.compose(Schema.NonEmptyString, Schema.split(",")).pipe(Schema.optional)

Schema.compose(Schema.NonEmptyString, Schema.split(",")).pipe(Schema.optional)

This takes in a string and produces a

string[] | undefined

string[] | undefined

. But if the string is "cat1 ,cat2,cat3", the resulting array would be

["cat1    ", "cat2", "cat3"]

["cat1    ", "cat2", "cat3"]
