Welcome to #support-forum. Before someone helps you, please first consult the information in #TML Troubleshooting Guide and try all the suggestions that might fit your particular issue, especially in the linked FAQ page.
If the information in the pinned thread does not solve your issue, please post all log files by dragging and dropping them into this chat. In Steam right click on
tModLoader
in the library, then hover over Manage
and click on Browse local files
. In the folder that appears find tModLoader-Logs
and open that folder. Inside that folder are the logs files. Select them all except the Old
folder and drag them into this chat. If you need a visual guide to this process watch this: https://github.com/tModLoader/tModLoader/assets/4522492/3f4efa43-753f-4733-b630-ba85e711340cflat-fuchsia•7mo ago
INstalled - how much RAM your computer has available to programs
Total - how much tmod thinks it is currently using of that available RAM
Just a different way of saying you can't run every single mod on the workshop at the same time as its too much content

I dont have anything installed and it says the total is 7.1, how is that? Also, isnt the limit 4GB of ram for tmodloader?

Oh the limit of tmodloader is however much the installed memory ius
As far as the total of 7.1, I can't say I'm confident in how that is calculated.
As a general rule, the base game uses around 4 GB, and big mods like Calamity add around 500 MB

ohhh, so there is not point for tmodloader 64 bit anymore right?

Yup

Ok tysm, but last question, is the "total" the total of both terraria base game and all the mods? or terraria alone or what?
flat-fuchsia•7mo ago
total is everything - Terraria, tmod itself, and all the mods loaded
