Migrate from windows to linux

I have 100.000+ photos. A modest NAS and a relatively powerful PC. I tried using immich in the NAS, but face recognition took ages (more than 20 days). So I decided to do it on my PC, and then migrate (according to https://immich.app/docs/administration/backup-and-restore/ ). Installed on PC, recognized faces, merged some, etc. etc. Then I exported database, uploaded everything to my nas, restored database and started immich and.... I see no collection on immich on my NAS. I import the library, it does not match with what I uploaded and begin regeneating thumbnails and re-recognizing faces... Does anybody knows what I am doing wrong? I am running v1.129.0 both on the PC and the NAS

So, trying to add more information here: * Immich is working, both on PC and on NAS * The main difference on the instalation is windows (z:\fotos) vs linux (/fotos) other than that, the folders are named the same, imported collection is named the same * I do not know what information could be relevant. Docker compose is vanilla, from the web (only addition is the volume for the photos, wich obviosly works), and in the environment, the passwords of the database (I used the same for both machines just in case)

when you logged into immich did it remember your user or did you have to make a new account?

You didn’t restore the database properly You should start over and include all the steps and output when you get to the restore

will give it another shot Ok, as the uploaded folders were not modified, I will not change anything. I will delete the database folder, add the "DB_SKIP_MIGRATIONS=true" to the env, upload the backup and try to restore and come back. and report

You should (usually) never need to add that variable

Not even to restore? I read on the official doc to add the variable just to start the postgre, restore, remove it and then restart all maybe I misunderstood

That's usually only needed for portainer so I guess in that case you should but not the case here
