maxSteps on agent tool calling

AI SDK supports maxSteps when using an agent to call a tool multiple times. Is this supported in Mastra or how do I otherwise allow an agent to call the same tool many times?

I'm using the agent network stuff and need to get website content, then visit some of the links in that website content.

Well, looks like I can just pass those options directly to agent.generate

FWIW I did search for "maxSteps" inthe docs (and asked via MCP) and neither of those found that it is in fact documented in the referene section .. Not sure why.

That’s odd because we do have it in the docs in the options to generate and stream
