Create Person (no Face detected)
Hello Folks,
Immich doesn’t recognize the face of my goddaughter, it doesn’t even notice there is a face.
Is there ash option to create a person if there was never a face detected?
I know I can add areas of a picture to a person even if the face recognition didn’t recognize it as a face, but it seems like Immich doesn’t like Babies or my goddaughter…

Information
In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close command, and re-open it later if needed.It just recognized one face in a newer picture, so I was able to crate a Person from it. However, the detection rate for Babies (or my Goddaugther) is abysmal. Is there anything we (the ones with contacts to babies/Goddaugthers 😉 ) can help to improve it?
There are fine-tuning options in the admin section, babies are usually bit tricky though
The best way to improve face detection is just take more (clear) pictures 🙂
