Help with Cloudflare Tunnels setup
Hey all,
Using Immich via TrueNAS and it’s going great (other than the storage full counter being broken on ZFS but that seems to be a known issue) however I have an issue when using Immich with Cloudflare Tunnels.
If I watch a video when connected via LAN, it works completely fine. The experience is fast and skipping about works fine too.
However when I access it via Cloudflare Tunnels, video only seems to work for about 10 seconds before becoming incredibly slow or outright not working.
Is there anyway you can help with this? I use the guide over at https://github.com/immich-app/immich/discussions/8299 and it works well on my computer and phone at home, just not anyone’s outside of my home.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l
and df -h
).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.

command, and re-open it later if needed.You could look into a tailscale tunnel alternative, generally CloudFlare tunnels are advised against because they add restrictions, and they can see all of your data
