If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed.Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
How did you install it in the first place
I followed some install instructions, but I dont remember what ones I used. I just dont want to start over and hope there is a way to see where I have it. I come from Windows and many years of use, but most GUI work.
try
sudo find ~ -name docker-compose.yml
for startersI'm afk but docker inspect should show it iirc
ah right
docker inspect immich_server | grep working_dir
I added the sudo and got this
"com.docker.compose.project.working_dir": "/home/djpegg/immich-app",
If I remember, I tried against the files in here and there might have been a permissions issue?
Should be all you need
ok hold on.... THANK YOU
And look at that im on 1.132.3 AWESOMESAUCE
Please keep an eye out for breaking changes though
https://github.com/immich-app/immich/discussions?discussions_q=label%3Achangelog%3Abreaking-change+sort%3Adate_created
There haven't been any since 1.118.0
But you never know
What do you mean, like a new version that might break it?
There might be a requirement to, say, change a port number in the compose file
And if you upgrade without doing that it will never start up
Before you upgrade just open the link and see if the new version is on top of that list
Oh, and I dont know how to get to the compose file... Thats one of the things I was looking at a few weeks ago
use your favorite text editor, vim or nano and just
sudo nano /home/djpegg/immich-app/docker-compose.yml
it's probably owned by root or something
