QNAP Nas
Hi,
I have installed Immich and i tried about everything to make my Nas as a external harddrive but cant make it work.
It is istalled on a Windows 11 PC and Docker desktop is running in the background with the containers
There is no problem to use external harddrive by changing location in .env file
I am new to this so is there a step by step i can follow?
Thanks in advance 🙂

If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed.Docker + external drives often does not work well on windows. You could try some googling. We recommend linux
also docker desktop is not recommended at all. you may want to try installing it directly in your QNAS if it has enough RAM and you don't want to make the switch to Linux
Ok, i have a Qnap TS-563, do you know how to set it up ?
The Docker app for the Qnap OS is called Container Station. After installing this, you can use Docker however you want (copying your docker compose over and pulling it up via the cli, or via a gui like Portainer)
