Why Infernum is lagging my game for no reason?

so its been a long time since i play terraria and i want to go back playing Infernum but idk why last time its not like this. Last time i have no problem game is running totally fine i tried infernum 60fps but idk why when i enter a new world my fps is not good at all like its sitting in about 45-50 never going above or below that, so i tried to disable infernum and only calamity mod in the same world, my fps is not that bad around 58-60, 60 most of the time even though background updates is still the same like 700~

Welcome to #support-forum. Before someone helps you, please first consult the information in #TML Troubleshooting Guide and try all the suggestions that might fit your particular issue, especially in the linked FAQ page. If the information in the pinned thread does not solve your issue, please post all log files by dragging and dropping them into this chat. In Steam right click on tModLoader in the library, then hover over Manage and click on Browse local files. In the folder that appears find tModLoader-Logs and open that folder. Inside that folder are the logs files. Select them all except the Old folder and drag them into this chat. You only have 6GB of RAM and are going way over your limit:

You are using too many mods / programs for the amount of RAM you have, so you'll have performance issues You'd have to buy more, or use less mods in the mean time

i only have 4 mods installed :(, anyway that explains why my infernum is lagging on my new laptop, i used a different laptop with 12gb of ram so basically i only need to upgrade my ram to increase my fps?

RAM is your current bottleneck, so upgrading it would help If you have enough RAM but you're still getting lag, the main thing to upgrade would be your CPU. Terraria / TML are single threaded and they rely on a CPU with a high single core speed
