Hi sadly not related to immich. Maybe reach out to docker help forums
You may need to reboot, re install docker etc
would that wipe everything in immich or just the 4 basic .env/.yml files
it depends on how you configured your mount points in
.env
The location where your uploaded files are stored
UPLOAD_LOCATION=D:\immich\library
The location where your database files are stored
DB_DATA_LOCATION=D:\immich\postgres
everything else is default
okay restarting wsl fixed it but if anyone figured out the root cause please mention it
ok, so everything should be safely stored in D:\immich
you should be able to reinstall docker
the root cause is windows
docker desktop on windows is funny
yeah
docker desktop is not meant to be used as app hosting, is just to run docker containers for development purposes
i need to make the migration to linux soon®
its a "temporary" solution until i get a small enough linux machine to strap on my monitor and bring with me
may the curses of windows disperse
thanks people
