Account linking social -> credentials
Hi,
Can you not link an credentials account to an already existing social provider and user?
I already have an user and a connected account with say microsoft. The user tries to sign up with email+password as well but get an error that the email is already in use.
It works fine the other way around.
Is this intended?

User and account management.
Not sure about email and password alongside social providers though
Did you try using forced Link?

doesnt work
when i think about it, you wouldnt have a verified email coming from credentials - which would be a security issue
You should verify the email when creating credentials.
and vice versa.
yes, but if you use a social provider is auto verifies the email based on the social provider. if you then would add credentials it would not be possible to verify it as its already verified
I see. Have to test it both ways.
users can’t just sign up, you need to set a password through
auth.api.setPassword
