If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed. In the admin settings

if you click the X it reopens the popup every 2 seconds
and the popup has no meaningful classes so you can't ublock it
Hit acknowledge 🙂
and then it shows it again next time i open the page
Are you clicking X or acknowledged ..?
Otherwise you can just disable it as bo0tzz said
if i click X it comes back immediately if i click ack it comes back next time i open the page
and also i have disabled it
I said Acknowledge. The big blue button at the bottom? Not the small X in the top right
yes
I’ve never seen that
see also in the background here
Are you using a proxy that is caching the page?
haproxy with no caching
What distro includes immich? You're about 10 versions behind btw, have you tried updating?
i am using https://wiki.nixos.org/wiki/Immich
no idea how you would get this to use a specific version
looks like there's a custom setting you can use to disable version checking
It's interesting to see how many things are floating around trying to "facilitate" installation by hiding things, when in reality it's such a simple process. making maintenance and error resolution a pain
https://my.immich.app/admin/system-settings?isOpen=version-check
should be it, right?
if you don't set it it uses the web interface
where i have disabled the version check already
i don't think installing 2 databases to use a photo app is very simple which is why i did it this way
In my opinion, the disadvantages of these methods are too many and unjustifiable, simply to avoid having a second instance of Postgres.
Especially when it's perfectly feasible to run immich with an existing Postgres.
In my case, I have a single postgres instance for all my apps, and I still use the default installation method, except I don't use the database container.
