Borg backups
I'm on openmediavault and have Borg plugin. For Borg plugin, how should I set up retention if I want to manually run backups and let's say keep last few backups?
Also let's say I have 500gb of data i want to backup and a 2tb drive, am I limited to around 4 backups, from what I understand is Borg is incremental, but the retention policy here is a bit confusing for me.

Information
In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l and df -h).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

To actually answer your question @talguy31 let's say you do a full backup at 500 GB and every incremental has about 1GB of changes. That would make for 505GB for 1 full and 5 incrementals.
Retention is just about how many incrementals/fulls you keep, or how old they can get before they are merged into the full backup or such
But this is an immich helpdesk, not a general Linux whatever
Sorry this is for my immich machine, immich recommended Borg and I don't know anyone who understands this stuff as much as you guys 😅
I mean I saw somewhere to use Borg or restic with immich
