SOLVED! I've been running Immich on my Ubuntu PC via docker compose since 3 weeks back and really loving it. Im a noob when it comes to linux and docker, but I've managed to set up a Jellyfin server before and I get along fairly well by googling and using chatpgt for help. Now I realized I've might have messed up big time...
I uploaded from local storage on my Ubuntu PC to my immich server with the CLI command: "immich upload --recursive /folder/path/", but without assigning them to a user!!
I realize I could just forget about them and do it again but assign them to the right user, but it's like 2000 photos and videos, so they're taking up a fairly big space. I would prefer not to leave them and not have to look for them one by one...
So, my questions are:
Is there any easy way to find all the unassigned photos and videos? (via immich CLI, the web GUI or bash?)
Is there any way to assign unassigned files to a user?
Or a safe way to remove only unassigned photos and do the upload again with the right user?
Any help is much appreciated!
