Need help with tModLoader "Unable to load DLL 'FAudio'" error
Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble launching tModLoader. Every time I try to run it, I get this error:
System.DllNotFoundException: Unable to load DLL 'FAudio'
I've already tried the following:
Installed both x86 and x64 versions of the Visual C++ Redistributables (2015–2022)
Verified the game files through Steam
Reinstalled tModLoader
Downloaded and placed different versions of FAudio.dll (both 32-bit and 64-bit) in the tModLoader directory
None of these have worked so far. I also downloaded the source code from the official FAudio GitHub repo, but there were no precompiled DLLs included.
Does anyone have a working version of FAudio.dll for Windows or know another way to solve this? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to #support-forum. Before someone helps you, please first consult the information in #TML Troubleshooting Guide and try all the suggestions that might fit your particular issue, especially in the linked FAQ page.
If the information in the pinned thread does not solve your issue, please post all log files by dragging and dropping them into this chat. In Steam right click on
tModLoader in the library, then hover over Manage and click on Browse local files. In the folder that appears find tModLoader-Logs and open that folder. Inside that folder are the logs files. Select them all except the Old folder and drag them into this chat.
