Improving LSP Performance with Effect in a Monorepo

are there any best practices to help lsp perf with effect? i'm like two days into adding this to my monorepo, and already diagnostics that are effect related are signficantly slower to surface in my editor than non-effect code's diagnostics. i'm imagining i'm doing something wrong, but are there common pitfalls listed anywhere?
