Immich_server keeps restarting
Hi i changed the upload location path and now immich wont start. The new folder is on a different drive.

In order to be able to effectively help you, we need you to provide clear information to show what the problem is. The exact details needed vary per case, but here is a list of things to consider:
- Your docker-compose.yml and .env files.
- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).
- Details about your storage (filesystems, type of disks, output of commands like fdisk -l
and df -h
).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.

Successfully submitted, a tag has been added to inform contributors. :white_check_mark:now i got it running, the issue now is that it shows that i have only 3.8 GiB available while the hard drive has 500gb free

Why do you have so many locations defined @BaC3D
i followed this: https://immich.app/docs/guides/custom-locations
now i deleted immich and im trying to set it up in the different drive
i think my mistake was executing the command to install in the wrong folder
Custom locations are for when you want to move things to different places, but for you everything is in the same place
You would be better off with just
UPLOAD_LOCATION=/hdd/immich-app/library/immich_files
And removing everything else
(of course this means deleting the postgres folder again)ok
Im trying to reinstall immich, if it doesnt work i will try this
fixed it

i uninstalled docker and everythinh
and then i cd in the drive that i wanted to use for immich
and then i reinstalled immich

why does it count in GiB instead of GB?
now i have to figure out how to use the app, how to access it remotely and how to create different users and their allocated space
i will figure it out
