SQL Dump Restore Problems
Hey, I started off with a weird problem with geo location data being messed up for the database so I decided to just do a restore from backup, but once I have done this I am getting a different but similar problem as before where it looks like theres something wrong with my postgres?

Running on Windows 10 Pro,
Docker Desktop: v28.1.1
Immich version: v1.132.3

This issue happens if I try to delete, upload or change any files
I can only manage to so far view my files.
Please read https://immich.app/docs/install/requirements/#special-requirements-for-windows-users
Likely your database is (slightly) corrupted
Best bet would be restoring to the volume from a backup
Added the change for db location.
Gonna try using a even older backup since last backup still had this issue
Be aware that images uploaded since the backup will not show, but you can locate them at the repair page https://my.immich.app/admin/repair
They would be "files not tracked by Immich"
I see, thanks alot for the info!
Side question from this one, I don't know if I should open another support ticket for it, but is there a way to get hardware transcoding working in WSL currently?
Using intel I7-7700k with IGPU HD graphics 630, and it would be nice to offload some of the video transcoding that happens to the igpu over all cpu.
I tried using quicksync and also vaapi in the past, but to no luck
WSL2 can support NVENC and VAAPI but not QSV
I see. Trying VAAPI, I get that there is no device mounted in the consol but I was sure that they were mounted .

Not sure if I have setup something wrong here
group add 226 was video/render I assume?
Yes
mmm wait
you have an iGPU
There's no additional GPU right?
no additional gpu currently in the server
Only Igpu
What does
/usr/lib/jellyfin-ffmpeg/vainfo
from within the immich_server container say?
docker exec -it immich_server /bin/bash

and
ls -l /dev/dri
(From container) ?
no such file or directory
ah interesting
Yeah, i've tried moving over to ubuntu in wsl to see if it resolves it but same problem with no such directory
Then that clashed with not being port forwarded for some reason so I stuck on back with docker again
https://github.com/microsoft/WSL/issues/12633
Does this match your versions perhaps?

little bit behind but I can try their solution
I will be honest, reading through I get the idea to find and load vgem, but damn I cant figure out what they are saying to get to that point
:KEKW:
alright might be getting somewhere now

Ok yeah, tried out such fix and still same issue with the directory not existing
