Immich app android first set up activated back up for new pic
Hello every one i just set up immich app on android phone galaxy 25 ultra for first time and i would like to back up only new picture . But i can t see this option . Soon as i try to select the folder camera he want upload all the picture inside .
Any idea please ?

So that s mean we have to upload all the picture from the phone ? or remove them from the phone before right ?
thanks where can we do the request for some option that will be very good ? Like removing some picture of face detected manuelly that they won t appear in the face detected will be good too .
it has already been requested, I can't find the ticket rn but it's def there
if they are alreayd identical copies on immich it will reject when backing them up so it won't duplicate. if the file is edited at all including the exif it will duplicate, though

hy i got a other question i m facing a probleme with the upload on the app soon as i left the screen the upload stop i lost connection :

everytime i quit the app . of course the optimisation of battery is disable every where

ok now i set up the local network in configuration of the app and look like i got a disconnection and a automatic reconnection

so it look like probably my reverse proxy when lost connection won t connect again ?
ok so without the automatic change adresse activated in the app the upload stop .
I had to activated to get the reconnection automatic so something wrong somewhere
unfortunatly i can t acces to the log of my reverse proxy i will try to change to proxy manager on the synology because the one integrated to synology is not so good .
with the local adress it disconnect but reconnect automaticly with the https it dis connect and reconnect but the app free for file update but on the background it keep updating .
i think it s a problem of proxy inverse . I will try to change and keep u update .
frontend upload only works when the app is open
backend upload is separate, it does not continue the jobs of the frontend upload
so there is 2 task ?
soon as we close the app the first task shutdown ? And the second open ?
Not "as soon as", background upload is up to the OS scheduler
Hy thank s a lot all good i found the probleme . It was defenetly coming from the proxy inverse of synology . I sucess swap to proxy manager was a pain in the ass) and now no more disconnection . Soooo good + update to new version Love it .
