eclipse unable to create maven project
hello guys please i'm trying to create maven project but when i try to searche for maven archetype simple i don't find it how fix that

Can you show what exactly happens?
btw you can also create a Maven project without any archetype
when i type on create simple maven project it appear alot of errors

Are you behind a proxy? e.g. in school or a company network?

i'm using this project for school is that what you meant

A proxy is a networking configuration where all your HTTP(s) traffic gets through some kind of network device that can block certain sites or whatever
Is the computer you are using provided by your school?
no it's my computer and i'm using the wifi in my house
In your home directory, there should be a
.m2 folder
with a repository folder in ityes it does existe
Can you delete the repository folder?
and then try again
are you sure is not gonna effect eclipse ?
The folder contains stuff you downloaded - if that's missing, it will be redownloaded when necessary
you can also rename the repository folder to repository2 or similar if you prefer that
ah ok i will try that right now and see what's gonna happen

Do the files of the created project exist?
If so, can you run
mvn verify -U in that directory?
Can you go to Help > About Eclipse > Installation Details > Configuration and copy what's shown there?Thanks for helping i will reinstall another version of éclipse and i will see what’s gonna happen
