iOS Photos/Video Permissions

When I installed the Immich app on iOS, it never sent a permission request, meaning I couldn't backup. I have reinstalled the app multiple times and checked that it works on other devices (Android, since I don't have a second iOS device). For context, I am using Immich to backup all of the photos on the phone since the phone is almost at max storage (idk if that helps). Thanks in advance.
