wait times
I've been waiting on a 2 x RTX 6000 Ada Pod to start for the past 3 hours, I've been charged around 5 dollars and was wondering if this is reimbursable or if anyone has any advice on getting my money back. It's a shame because I got it working finally last night and now I've been waiting on a gpu and losing money so I might have to switch providers.

@Jason i think there's something going on with network volumes and runpod instances...been having issues with comfyui images that were previously working no longer working because they can't access folders on a different machine (easy workaround with just recreating the venv), but now the filesystem for my network volume is so slow it makes the pod essentially unusable. Copying files, deleting files, downloading files (just images mind you), previewing files etc takes an order of magnitude longer than normal, at least. im on the illinois server if that matters, but yeah everything was smooth until the last 24-48 hours.
and i have a ticket out already

yeah horibly slow
and ive been using ashleykza comfyui py312 and the 5090 variant
right now im on a py311 comfyui variant because i was just testing out everything i could to just try and get some normalcy
and it's not so slow it's annoying it's so slow the pod is barely usable but i want to get something done before bed

you would not believe how slow it is specifically when it comes to anything to do with files. a 2506x2506 jpeg should save instantly essentially but the save node in my workflow takes 10-15 seconds. download speeds for my jpegs are 150kbps
even just navigating the directory in vscode, if i want to open my "comfyui" folder when it's been closed for a while it takes a full minute or two for the directory to actually appear, like the network is fetching the contents of the folder extremely slowly
generating a batch of 4 1024x1024s, after the vae decodes the images, it takes a full 10 - 15 seconds for them to appear in the preview image pane...normally they appear essentially instantly after vae decode. something is just wrong

doubt that will do anything. the key here is it wasn't like this before, but it's like this now. something changed, and im using the same image and the same GPU
