Advanced HUD, dedicated server CPU lag while airborne
While using AHUD on a Dedicated Server, if the AHUD is equipped on the character, the server will spike to 100%+ CPU usage if, and only if, the character is airborne AND moving.
A stationary character who is airborne (hoverpack) will not cause a CPU spike.
However, move just a bit, and the CPU spikes to 100% immediately.
Having markers on or off and changing scan range has no impact on server CPU use.
ONLY unequipping the AHUD helps.
The CPU spike is significantly limited if you're nowhere near any buildables. This leads me to believe it's an issue with the marker system, but turning markers off does not alleviate the spike.
Does anyone have any solution to this?

If this isn't the mod you were looking for, try a different spelling.

Ooof. 😅
I think I can significantly improve the mods performance by refactoring it using the new mixin system. I'll have some time to try this later this week. In the mean time I don't really have a good solution for the problem other than to tell you not to use the mod in MP.
Well, it's not a huge-ass problem for me personally. All I have to do is to NOT have the item equipped while near buildables (and ask players to do the same).
Honestly, it would be a convenience thing if hiding markers would outright disable its scanning behaviour (as I assumed it did), in which case I think the CPU load would disappear?
But I'm unfortunately not a modder and not privvy to either Satisfactory's or the mods inner workings, so I'm just spitballin here.
For now, I made this report mainly to make you aware of it (since it is currently listed as multiplayer and server compatible, and I'd argue in this state, it's problematic in that situation, but can be worked around)
Just to confirm, I have the same problem.
I have a 9800X3D, 64GB RAM, and a 7900XT and this mod was crippling my FPS from 144FPS to <30FPS in a 5mb save while playing solo.
Unequipping the HUD does solve the problem, I just didn't know it was a problem.
Turning off the markers (Control + M) while near/inside a factory should help improve the performance.
