termux broken after android 16
I updated yesterday from Android 15 to Android 16 and the app doesn't open no matter what I do. I used it just fine before the update. I don't want to reinstall termux cause of all the hassle I went through setting up a linux desktop (XFCE, vnc server, pulseaudio, apps in the desktop etc.)

termux was also installed from F droid
update termux maybe
Install latest apk

I've the same issue as OP
however can't update my termux
@wardyee you have probably different issue than OP. termux app can be instlled but can not be opened.
The issue with Android 16 was fixed here https://github.com/termux/termux-app/issues/4556
I also updated my android and it opens and closes the exact same way as op
May I ask how to reinstall like termux itself
like my installation of termux is the one from the playstore not fdroid
There are probably two options right now - build from source or install from CI artifact. Both require uninstalling existing termux app if it is installed from f-droid or play store.
