Nice!Nano Not going into bootloader (not able to see device in the computer)
Hello,
I recently purchased a Lily58 wireless with a nice!nano. However, the nano I recieved seems to be faulty. Whenever I plug it in the nano flashes however the computer doesn't recognize it as a device. The right side nice!nano functions as intended and works with my computer. How can I fix this or would I be able to get a replacement?
Thanks

Hello! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your nice!nano not being recognized by your computer. It's frustrating when a new component doesn't work as expected.
Since your nice!nano is flashing but not appearing as a drive, let's try a few troubleshooting steps to see if we can get it into bootloader mode:
1. Try a different USB cable: Sometimes cables can be faulty or only support charging, not data transfer.
2. Try a different computer/device: This helps rule out issues with your computer's USB ports or drivers.
3. Manually short RST and GND pins: Use metal tweezers to carefully double-tap the RST and GND pins on the nice!nano. This can sometimes force it into bootloader mode if the physical reset button isn't working.
You can find more details on these steps in our documentation here: https://docs.typeractive.xyz/troubleshooting/entering-bootloader
If these steps don't resolve the issue, it might indicate a deeper problem. For potential replacements or further assistance with your order, please reach out to our support team directly via email at

I am having a very similar issue. Is it flashing quickly or slowly? My left half doesn't flash at all and it connects to my computer and I am able to use it. The right half is flashing quickly, I've tried restoring the firmware, I even reflashed following these instructions (https://nicekeyboards.com/docs/nice-nano/troubleshooting). The device keeps going back into bootloader mode (blue light flashing quickly).
So I flipped the controller over and double checked all of the components, and noticed that somewhere along the way I knocked a cap loose, after soldering it back on everything work as expected.
@Karl M. Do you remember what cap you had to resolder?
Can you send me a picture of the face of your controller?
@Karl M. didn’t realize there was an issue with the nano till after I soldered 😅

Haha, did you get it fixed?
Your caps look fine here.
Nope sadly.
