Updating Local Install AND Dedicated Server in the same launch with SMM is currently not possible

I open SMM, and I have my dedicated server mounted on my local machine (it's running off of a home-server, so it's on LAN for me). Both installations show up just fine in SMM and updates can be detected and applied. However, if I click "Update X mods" on my local install, it'll update, refresh and be done for my local install, but if I switch installation to my server, the updates no longer show, and if I launch the server afterwards, the mods have not been updated. In order to update the server, I have to close SMM after updating my olocal install and then relaunch it, select my server and update separately. Am I doing something wrong or is this a feature that is currently not supported?

Are you shutting down the server before updating? And are you using the same profile on both server and client?

Yes on both. I've also attempted to re-apply the profile after updating, and also turn off and on mods again. None of them seem to help.

Then that's definitely weird! >debughere

We need more information to help you. Before launching the game again, open the Mod Manager and use the "Generate debug info" option, then send the zip file produced here in this channel. If you need to access older log files, see https://docs.ficsit.app/satisfactory-modding/latest/faq.html#Files_Logs

I'm wondering if it's due to some strange quirk of my mounting the dedicated server's folder locally. (I found that simpler than setting up SFTP just for a local server) I'll attach debuginfo next time there is an update available and we'll see what we can glean. Thanks!

I found a better workaround that doesn't require restarting: If you, after updating your local installation, switch to the server and click "Check for updates", the updates will correctly show up and allow you to update them without restarting the mod manager.
