right half is not connecting with the left over bluetooth

It sounds like your right half isn't connecting to your left half. The right half communicates through the left, so ensure your left half is powered on and connected.
This is often a pairing issue between the two halves. Please try the following steps:
1. Reset both halves: Press the reset buttons on both sides at the same time. This helps them find and pair to each other.
2. Reset bonds on both halves: If the above doesn't work, the bonds between them might be corrupted. You can clear the bonds by following the steps in the ZMK documentation: https://zmk.dev/docs/troubleshooting#split-keyboard-halves-unable-to-pair After clearing, try resetting both halves again.

@TyperAI what is meant by "same time" how much tolerance is there
When we say "at the same time," it doesn't require nanosecond precision. You should aim to press the reset buttons on both halves within a second or two of each other.
The goal is for both halves to enter their reset/pairing mode around the same time so they can discover and connect to each other. If you find it difficult to press both buttons simultaneously, you can also use metal tweezers to short the RST and GND pins on each nice!nano within that same short timeframe.
