archipelago Update issues
I was playing with just the Archipelago Randomizer installed, and the docs for the mod said it wasn’t compatible with 1.1 - so i was playing on offline mode when i booted the game, but steam decided to kindly update my game version when i wasnt looking.
Now im getting this error message when i load the game.
Archipelago Randomizer v2.0.4 is the only mod i installed - so im not sure whats missing or how to fix it.
any help/ideas?

the docs for the mod said it wasn’t compatible with 1.1 where did you read this? those are outdated
the mod is updated for 1.1, but any 1.0 saves you may have from beforehand are not compatible, if that's what you mean

If this isn't the mod you were looking for, try a different spelling.
this mod is not currently updated, but you won't lose any content by running without it. the mam will just be more confusing
It was in some previous documentation for the Archipelago mod - but i cant find where now. Maybe it was because of the mam enhancer involvement it said that
even more confusing when it comes to Archipelago is a low bar :LUL:
in my opinion, the confusion should be in planning your factories and trying to figure out the optimal path to progress on, not in understanding the info you are given, haha
it wasn't compatible with 1.1 until ... June 9th. so I probably edited the docs that said that once that released
Lemme boot the save without the Mam enhancer and see what happens - i just need to be able to understand what im unlocking because its a multiplater Archipelago game
you won't be able to view descriptions or names that are too long within the mam, but you can see the full name if you check the multiworld webpage thingy
it wont even load, its just been stuck one the whirling loop for 20 mins

It's possible to use SteamCMD to go back to previous versions of the game. This only works if you own the game on Steam - there is no alternative for Epic. For Epic, you must back a backup of the game files before the update occurs (so turn off auto update to make this easier!)

this has got me wrapped in circles. Im trying to follow it and just get lost.
it is a rather complicated process, and we don't offer any support for it other than those directions, since there are a gazillion things that can go wrong playing on older versions
