A weird storage configuration

So I was thinking of getting a new SSD and setting it up to boot a Linux os like ubuntu, I think that I might not have enough storage for all my photos in that one SSD, is there anything I can do so a partition created and formatted (ext4) in my second ( windows SSD ) can be used if my first one ever runs out of space.

not that i know of that quickly, maybe with symlink magic or something

maybe consider unraid as an os, it allows this kind of behaviour, but for just photo storage an ssd is not really needed, maybe consider buying a hdd for your photos now?
