How can I migrate my Supabase project from US East to Europe (Paris), and what happens to my data
Hi everyone,
I currently have a Supabase project that was provisioned in the US East region. For latency, compliance, and data-sovereignty reasons, I’d like to move the entire project to the Europe – Paris region.
1. Is it actually possible to relocate an existing Supabase project to a different region, or would I need to create a brand-new project in Europe and migrate everything manually?
2. If a direct migration is possible, how complicated is it and what kind of downtime should I expect?
3. What exactly happens to:
• Postgres data and tables
• Auth users
• Storage buckets
• Edge Functions
• API keys and any other environment-specific secrets
4. Are there any official tools, scripts, or documented best practices to streamline the move?
