Reality Disruption

If you had to remove one sandboxels element from reality, which one would cause the least damage, which one would cause the most damage and which one would you want to remove?

Has to be a sandboxels element that exists in real life, either as an element, material, object, animal or concept. it also prevents said removed thing from being able to be made again, like removing tomato doesnt remove the plant but the plant loses the ability to create the fruit and will go extinct without the ability to create fruit or removing concrete causes wet cement to not harden when the water dries, simply turning back into a powder

probably air

Least Damage: Smog Most Damage:Neutron(Everything is hydrogen) Want to remove:Nuke

i think proton removal is more damaging than neutron removal

Ig least damage would technically be unknown Because it doesn't actually exist irl But then, calling it a single element os a stretch Ig both would still cause very big problems

neutron removal still allows hydrogen atoms to exist proton removal doesn't allow any atoms to exist i'm not sure what the aftermath of neutron removal would be cause the hydrogen would still clump up, into large masses and then what? is fusion impossible or does it do something new and special?

wouldn't atoms just generally fall apart

i specified specifically elements that exist in real life as either objects, elements, materials or concepts i mean unknown could technically be considered a concept removing the concept of the unknown would be pretty bad i think in way too many ways to count

all of them except hydrogen but yeah very very violent explosions

i wonder what would be the most destructive on a human scale like removing protons would be destructive sure but it would also probably kill everything all at once concrete would destroy so much steel and aluminum would also be terrible for infrastructure and most technology

molten iron suddenly the earth collapses slightly
Nekā•nico (@ for Nyazsche)
ooh iron loses the ability to melt
nousernamefound
nousernamefound•5mo ago
and also like half of the core is gone
Nekā•nico (@ for Nyazsche)
continues staying solid until reaches boiling point then sublimation yeah that would ruin the entire industry of like nearly everything
nousernamefound
nousernamefound•5mo ago
and also the core of the earth is destablized global earthquakes surpassing anything ever seen before probably on other planets too
Nekā•nico (@ for Nyazsche)
definitely

removing ozone would be pretty bad

removing body would cause terrible worldwide terror for like 4 seconds

wait what if we remove light
Nekā•nico (@ for Nyazsche)
oh shit wait what would count as light
nousernamefound
nousernamefound•5mo ago
photons
Nekā•nico (@ for Nyazsche)
would it be the entire electromagnetic spectrum or just visible light
nousernamefound
nousernamefound•5mo ago
hmmm entire spectrum seems more fun

what if i removed the random pixel, it can place any pixel would that remove everything or remove randomization (if the universe isnt already written) or would it just remove a random element the one id want to remove would be like cancer or smth and the least damage would be strange matter or gray goo, because that doesnt exist and even if it did, the world would be destroyed
nousernamefound
nousernamefound•5mo ago
has to exist irl (for the last bits) strange matter isn't confirmed AFAIK and gray goo def doesnt exist

oh if i picked border would country borders be destroyed
nousernamefound
nousernamefound•5mo ago
no border seems like a fictional sandboxels element kinda like how rainbow doesnt actually represent like the weather phenomenon
Nekā•nico (@ for Nyazsche)
removing gray goo would make it so the creation of gray goo would become impossible that is if it was possible to create in the first place

In the sun, hydrogen(without neutrons) fuses into helium(with neutrons) but that would be impossible Also, I picked neutrons not to seem like I'm copying

Ig on a human scale, something like deleting cells would be the most destructive Well, planetary scale, assuming no messing with anything internal (and only really counts if stuff like deleting all the iron in the core doesn't)

Removing dust would probably be beneficial anyway, removing blood would be the end of mankind and many animals, I would probably remove rotten meat
