No devices detected (Arch/CachyOS) - Flatpak install
Hey there, I've been trying to get this to work without much luck. It just doesn't detect my Elgato StreamDeck Mini.
I'm on CachyOS, Gnome 48.3.
I've copied the udev rules to /etc/udev/rules.d/ (i.e. sudo cp 40-streamdeck.rules /etc/udev/rules.d/)
I reloaded the udev subsystem (sudo udevadm control --reload-rules && sudo udevadm trigger)
I've restarted my computer/opendeck.
I'm not seeing a plugdev group on my system.
Content of the logs isn't showing much (~/.var/app/me.amankhanna.opendeck/data/opendeck/logs/):

i should mention that i've tried the AUR package as well with the same results, which leads me to believe it has something to do with the udev rules?
Which package of opendeck do you have currently installed? AUR, AUR-git or Flatpak?
The plugdev group is only Ubuntu. DO NOT CREATE ONE.
I have the flatpak installed at the moment. I removed the AUR version before installing the flatpak
Which one of the AUR versions did you try?
i think i tried them both at some point? im not sure. i went about removing them before going back to the flatpak version.
I think I am in the same boat but I used git clone aur package then built image and it's timing out on pairing
is there a different log file we can look at to get a hint of what's going on?

i am on KDE in CachyOS as well
strangely, i rebooted today and it's detecting my streamdeck mini fine 🤷♂️Ok. Then it should be no udev issue.
@Matt Derrick Did it happen again since it started to work or did it now work all the time
On my side it was old plug in version issue. Everything works for now at least. I will do more tests today
May I ask which Plugin?
I don't remember name anymore but the one which didn't want to update his plug in to work with your app

Ah yeah. If you need an obs Plugin the multi stream one works pretty well.
