✅ SEO for an asp.net blog?

Hey guys, I made a blog for writing articles about things I'm working on. The main point of the blog is to use as a portfolio for myself (can be useful for a CV also). My main question though is even though I have built the app, how does SEO come in to play here? The data is being pulled from a database, so scrapers won't just be able to pull it for indexing right?

It's got some test stuff on it at the minute, and is basically just has default frontend for an asp.net web app with bootstrap, but updating the frontend is next on my todo list

if the data is not being dynamically served with javascript then yes they will be able to index it

so in short yes, asp will grab data from db and display it on the page, which u can see when u right click and go to view source code.

Ahh, so I shouldn't need to do anything? Like I thought aria labels and all made usability better, improving seo, but because I couldn't pull this stuff from the db, I didn't use them

tweaking keywords, linking etc are all part of the task

but if your content is original it shouldnt have any issues indexing and gaining traction.

that does not mean u will have a top rank, but that it will be index without issues

what is commonly used is a wysiwyg editor

so in your control panel you can write it nicely with proper html tags etc and save to the db so when u pull it back it will properly format

just be careful with sql injection and properly use sanitization where needed

So in short, it doesn't matter about usability tags as much as I think for SEO, and original content is king. Thank you dude

SEO is very complex imo there are communities built around researching it and how it affects a page, but ultimately original content has priority and google has means to track it.

with a good enough network of sites and proper SEO and scoring u can stand on the top of the search engines but it takes time

and again its not something very simple, and there is a good way of doing it and a bad way of doing it and sadly they both work.
