Getting more crashes than usual - blueprints oriented
Placement of blueprints, putting blueprints in werid places/angles, I will provide more soon.
Solution:Jump to solution
That should be sorted out now; added blueprints to the list of things excluded cos of that crash 👍

This crash is in the system which adds feet to factory buildings. That could mean it's a building provided by a mod causing it, or possibly an unusual vanilla issue. Does it still happen with mods turned off?
Hmm I will see. If it's about the feet (indeed it happened when I tried to plop a building on some random places to pick up colors).
Ooo, ok, I couldn't replicate without "auto connect" function. With mods. Now test without
(I placed the blueprint away from any connections)
Can't launch save without mods XD
Doesn't happen on vanilla
I will try to turn off no invalid floor placement
Yeah, it seems to work
@Baba_booie{Crazy BP Workarounds}
(am sorry)
Maybe it's trying to extend feet to the floor but there isn't one
Nah, it doesn't crash when I spam blueprints on uneven foundations
There should still be a floor in that case. I'm thinking one of the feet spawns underground and tries to find the ground below it, there isn't any, and it chokes
What I meant - I can place the blueprints everywhere, no crashes. Rocks, buildings, anywhere. Once I turned No Invalid Floor placement it crashes quickly (I can't verify now if it happens when it would try to spawn legs, or 100% of times)
Yeah no that's No Invalid Floor Placement but I thought I'd rectified that issue; I'll have a look at the logs and see if I can sort it out for good
