fps drop issue (don't know why)
cursor fps that do not match the main game fps, and fps that repeat up and down for no reason... there're so many issues but they're all related to fps.
I don't even need to set up a default GPU. R7 5800X has no built-in graphics. my pc is running on RTX 3070 from the beginning, and I checked it just in case, but tmodloader is running on RTX 3070 at high performance.
The running options that can be set up on Steam don't mean anything and don't work. D3D11, OpenGL, and Vulkan all see the same degradation.
The power option is always the highest option.
By touching CPU preference settings, I've tried using only 8 cores out of 16 cores, using only 4 cores, using all cores, increasing CPU priority, and so on, but nothing has changed.
I tried some possible settings on NVIDIA control panel, but nothing changed. The only one was V-sync; which drops the overall fps when I turn on V-sync, and when I turn off V-sync, the screen splits in half, and the game runs at 60fps on the bottom and 20fps on the top.
It doesn't matter how many mods there are or their amounts. Starting with WOTG, I tried disabling the giant mods one by one, and ran them with no resource packs, no mods at the end - but the non-linear, recurrent fps drops were still there.
These are the same when all the big mods including WOTG are on. It's not like fps get worse either. There's no change in performance, it just low fps.
The only place to experience 60fps is the main screen before the game starts, and even here, cursor fps is not 60 and it's very stuttering.
As a result of checking the log, there was no error in the absence of any mods(of course).
I tried reinstalling it after complete initialization, which is true for both tmodloader and terraria, but there was no significant change.
The framerate is fixed at 60, but not fixing at 60 does not mean that the fps will not fall off. You have to turn off v-sync just to avoid fixing at 60, in which case makes phenomenons that described above "only the lower side of the screen is smooth and the upper side of the screen is stuttering".
My monitor is not compatible with g-sync, so g-sync can't be an issue.
Windows game mode, full screen optimizations are already off. Of course, I had this phenomenons when it was on.
all of overlays are disabled - discord and steam. (i'm not using other apps that making overlay on tmodloader/terraria)
this things are I can do, and did. If there's any other way, or if I've done something wrong, or if there's a workaround, please let me know.
