Using Effect Context/DI for Scoped Data Instead of Full Services

Has anyone used @Effect Bot Context / DI not provide Effects with full-blown Services but with just tiny bits of scoped data? or is this somewhat a kind of an anti-pattern?
Feel like I now think everything is a nail, that I want to hammer down with effect?
