Syncing Mods
My friend and I have decided to try out a few new mods but since I'm the one who has better internet, he lets me host so we don't constantly disconnect or so his PC doesn't have to host. It gets past the "Loading Mods" and "Found server" part but once it gets to syncing mods, it's stuck on it forever. I left it for 10 minutes and nothing has changed. Not to mention, when I select my character, my game freezes. I'm not sure why.

If the information in the pinned thread does not solve your issue, please post all log files by dragging and dropping them into this chat. In Steam right click on tModLoader in the library, then hover over Manage and click on Browse local files. In the folder that appears find tModLoader-Logs and open that folder. Inside that folder are the logs files. Select them all except the Old folder and drag them into this chat. i also have the problem with that part and once it gets to syncing mods, it's stuck on it for a minute or 5 then i lose connection
I'm just stuck on syncing mods. Not sure what it is, I never had that issue before
so the bot did not help
Doesn't seem like it.
Now I'm having this issue about tmod, new error too.
the “bot” isn’t designed to solve problems for you, someone used it to show you how to upload your logs which are necessary for finding the cause of issues like this
regarding your first client log,
System.Net.Sockets.SocketException: No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.
are you sure you’re using the correct IP to connect to the host machine?
looks like it’s something with star drawing, try disabling any non-essential mods which may modify the tml background, and if that doesn’t work, follow the flow chart to find the offending modTag: flowchart (Owner: jopojelly#0000)

I found the issue
it was the bismuth mod
I guess its not multiplayer compatible just yet
