Hello everyone. I just want to know if the new version has any breaking changes that apply to me, or if I can simply do a normal update. I'm a little confused.

- Logs from all the containers and their status (see above).
- All the troubleshooting steps you've tried so far.
- Any recent changes you've made to Immich or your system.
- Details about your system (both software/OS and hardware).

and df -h
).
- The version of the Immich server, mobile app, and other relevant pieces.
- Any other information that you think might be relevant.
Please paste files and logs with proper code formatting, and especially avoid blurry screenshots.
Without the right information we can't work out what the problem is. Help us help you ;)
If this ticket can be closed you can use the /close
command, and re-open it later if needed.Do you have
IMMICH_MEDIA_LOCATION
set?No, I have just set it as the default. I've already attached a screenshot for your reference.
In the screenshot there's no
IMMICH_MEDIA_LOCATION
anywhere
We aren't talking about some env var related to media stuff. We're specifically saying "if you have this exact variable set"Basically, I deployed it on a VPS, and it occupies the direct VPS storage. That's why it's set as the default.
Are you talking about
UPLOAD_LOCATION
? :HUH:Yes
How's that related?
I m just confused 😐
The decision tree is fairly straightforward.
if you DO NOT have IMMICH_MEDIA_LOCATION in your .env fileNo? Okay it doesn't apply We don't just use some variable name but mean a different one
These are my environment files. I only changed the database password; I haven't modified anything else. That's it.

Yeah so there's no
IMMICH_MEDIA_LOCATION
set anywhere there
So the breaking changes don't apply to youOk thanks for your support and time 🙏
